The Gauchers Association Family Fun Day 2023

On Sunday 1st October an intrepid group of Gaucher familes met at Warwick Castle to enjoy the GA Family Fun Day. Originally built in 1068 by William The Conqueror, Warwick Castle, is well known for being the home of Richard Neville, The Kingmaker and Earl of Warwick, famous for his role in the War of the Roses. Steeped in history, the castle was a fascinating place to visit and explore. Apart from touring the castle, we watched the UK's largest Birds of Prey display - The Falconers Quest and saw a reinactment of a battle in Legend of the Trebuchet. There was a maze to navigate plus turrets to climb and much more.

Our Family Fun Day coincided with International Gaucher Day so made it even more of a special reason to get together. It was really lovely seeing everyone who came and we look forward to our next get together. Warwick Castle had all the ingredients for a fabulous family day out and it certainly delivered!
